Pregnancy involves much preparation. For about 40 weeks, you schedule doctors visits, compose a birth plan, pick nursery colour schemes, and ponder baby names. You try to plan every aspect of the journey, but then the contractions begin and often you find that the events in labour itself are far beyond your control. Being thrown into the hands of a hospital, birth partner, doula, doctor, or whatever your preference can feel quite the opposite to all of the planning that had taken place up until that point.
Pretty Pushers is focused on THAT POINT! the climax, the finish line, the birth itself. We want you to OWN your LABOUR!
It will be the hardest work you ever do and you should feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable while doing it! Dont be at the mercy of the hospital gown or even an old night shirt this is a big deal! After much research and consideration of the modern labour experience, Pretty Pushers has created fashionable and functional products specific to delivery day.
Pretty Pusher labour gowns are one-size-fits-most, composed of 100% cotton stretch jersey. The slip-on halter neck and diagonal cut garment is not only flattering but makes sense there are openings which provide access for fetal monitors, the epidural, and other IVs if needed. And of course labour can get very messy so our thought is this: If you're going to bring your own gown, be prepared to throw it away! The hospital staff wont wash it for you, and what else will you do with a soiled gownsave it in a bag for 36 hours and take it home to wash? Not a chance! As a matter of fact, we feel that it is better for the environment to throw a bit of cotton into the ground than to add to the millions of gallons of hot water and harsh chemicals used on hospital laundry every day. This is exactly why our gowns are made with no trim, unfinished edges, and the fewest seams possible to aid in the disposability factor.
Our concern for environmental impact is carried out in every aspect of our operation. Most of our packaging contains recycled cardboard and is recyclable. There is no PVC involved and our cosmetics are never tested on animals.About Pretty Pushers...

The Gowns
Pretty Pusher labour gowns are one-size-fits-most, composed of 100% cotton stretch jersey. The slip-on halter neck and diagonal cut garment is not only flattering but makes sense there are openings which provide access for fetal monitors, the epidural, and other IVs if needed. It's light enough to wear in and out of the labour pool or bath, and the halter is stretchy enough to provide easy access for that all-important first feed. Each gown comes with a free headband too.

Throw it away if you want!
